This past month has been a bit crazy, to say the least! We’ve said our goodbyes to many lovely clients. When our brides collect their wedding dress on collection day, it’s always exciting. We send our brides off with their bridal gown to celebrate one of the biggest days of their life! We really get to know our clients throughout their appointments and fittings. That’s why we love to see pictures of them on the wedding day itself, seeing the ideas they’ve discussed come to life is truly magical!
As well as being busy with clients, we’ve welcomed a few more styles into store. We’re really pleased with our collection as it’s so diverse and flexible. Our bridal designers Stella York, Miquel Suay, Pronovias and Ian Stuart each have their own flare. Whether you’re seeking a traditional look or a wedding dress which is fashion-forward we recommend booking an appointment in with one of our stylists. Call us on 0131 558 9613.
The new styles which have arrived are all completely different. Our Ready to Wear collection offers a choice of relaxed and beautiful alternatives to simplistic tradition and everything in between. For several seasons lace has been hugely popular with designers, we can thank Kate Middleton for that but this year we have noticed the introduction of soft tulle and delicate chiffon. Both fabrics are very romantic.
Heavily embellished, 1920s vintage wedding dresses have been all the rage for a few seasons now. The decadence has remained but a more subtle approach has been taken with embellishment. The lace which has been incorporated into the new bridal gowns features contemporary laser cut designs. We love this modern method, the detail created is just exquisite.
While we wait for the rest of our designer collection to arrive, we’ll occupy ourselves by finishing the wedding dresses for our upcoming bridal fashion show.
